Amanda M. Tarkington

My research is broadly focused on the socio-political climate of Late-Roman Gaul. I am currently analyzing evidence of self-representation and elite orientation in the letter collections of Gallo-Roman aristocrats in the late fifth century CE. I am also interested the Carolingian reception of these texts.
